Foundation Welcomes Jenn Phillabaum as New Treasurer

The Spokane Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenn Phillabaum as its new treasurer. Phillabaum brings a wealth of financial expertise to the role, thanks to her extensive experience managing operations and financial accounting at Phillabaum, Ledlin, Matthews, and Sheldon (PLMS) law office. Her background in finance, combined with her ongoing education in accounting at Western Governors University, makes her a valuable addition to the foundation's leadership team.

Prior to her current position at PLMS, Phillabaum spent 20 years working in a variety of financial institutions across the Spokane area. Her deep understanding of financial management, combined with her passion for lifelong learning, has driven her career. “Education is valuable at any age,” says Phillabaum, who continues to further her expertise through her studies.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Jenn is a dedicated family person. She and her husband Ben, along with their daughter Kira, a recent graduate of Spokane Public Schools, enjoy spending time together with their two dogs. Phillabaum balances her busy career and education with a commitment to family and community.

As treasurer, Phillabaum will oversee the foundation’s financial health, ensuring that its resources are managed responsibly and efficiently. Her leadership in this role will help guide the foundation’s efforts to support its mission and continue making a positive impact.

The foundation looks forward to working with Jenn Phillabaum and benefiting from her expertise and dedication in the years ahead.
